If you died tomorrow, what would you want people to say about you?
Kim spent her life trying to be the person that God created her to be. On the days that she succeeded she shared her joy with everyone around her; and on the days that she fell she dusted herself off, thanked the Lord for His mercy and forgiveness and learned from her mistakes, vowing to do better tomorrow. She was flawed, but she was real and she never tried to pretend otherwise.

How long have you been singing?
According to my mom, I've been singing since I was about three.

You have teenagers at home. What advice do you give them, knowing what they face today?
Be true to yourself and know that you'll make mistakes in life. Never forget that Jesus is with you through everything, and forgiveness is yours if you ask. Always learn from the mistakes you've made and never be too proud to ask for help.

When and where did you meet Brian?
I met Brian at the daycare center my boys were attending. The ladies that worked there played cupid once they found out that he was interested in me. He used to leave me little notes on the sign out sheet when he would get there before me. I can't say that it was love at first sight but as we got to know each other I found myself falling in love and growing in a relationship that was deeper and fuller than I thought was possible.

Ministry or entertainment?
Ministry .... or entertainment with an extra. I guess it's all in how you perceive it. For people who have asked Jesus into their lives and truly regard Him as their personal Savior, it's ministry. For people who haven't met Him or only see Him as a long list of rules and regulations with little to no room for love and personal relationships, it can be either. Maybe the moment in time that they hear one of our songs or one of our messages will be the moment that they start to open their hearts up to Christ. Maybe that moment will be something that they consider to be just some great entertainment ... but during that moment in time a seed is being planted. Mark 4:26-27 says "And He was saying, "The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil; and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows--how, he himself does not know." We may not see the seeds we plant grow, but we have faith that God will take care of the watering, the weeding and the harvesting.

What is your favorite Road To Revelation song and why?
Every song we've written is special to me and marks a step in my journey, but "Trapped" has been my favorite since the day it was written. Even though I know who I belong to and even though I work in ministry, there are still days when I feel like I've painted myself into a corner ... trapped in a prison of my own making. Those dark moments are few and far between, but when they come that song reminds me that there is only one way out - through the Son.

What do you like the most about being a part of the band?
By far, it is being able to share Christ with others while doing something that I love.

Message:
Since coming back to Christ in my early 30's I have known that He had a plan for my life. I spent years running from it and trying to fight it, but it was always there. Now I realize that He was there all along, even though I didn't acknowledge Him. I don't claim to be perfect, but I try to be the person that Christ made me to be.
